i flew on plane aug 2 with upper respitatory infection - i am still suffering with eustachian tube and ear problems and i think i may have aerosinusitis or sinus barotrauma - how can i get a doctor to analyze me and see if i have it - i am now showing signs of yellow mucus and sinus pressure
Thank you for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should consult ENT surgeon. Air travel can cause damage in our vestibular system due to pressure changes in flight. And this aggravate preexisting upper respiratory tract infection. Start with levoflixacin 500 mg once daily with levocetrizine 5 mg once daily with paracetamol 500 mg twice daily all for 5 days. If still not relieved consult ENT surgeon.
