Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection

I have had a sinus infection with one sided severe eustachean tube blockage for a month. Was on antibiotics for two weeks, which cleared up purulent eye drainage and most painful part of sinus infection. However, the sinusitis and blocked Eustachian tube lingers, along with sore tongue and feels like sores at back of throat.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.

It seems from the history that you are having sinus infection and sore throat.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. The presence of sore throat with blockage of Eustachian tube indicate congestion of the throat probably secondary to the sinus infection.
2. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and decongestants.
3. Along with this salt water gargling will be of help to relieve the symptoms.

Hence you need to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
