Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection, Fever And Severe Rash On The Skin

I have myastinia gravis. I have been dizzy with feeling of not enough air in my lungs and sometimed feel like i struggle swallowing. hot/cold fevers. Tests didn t show anything they sent me home with sinus and motion sickness medication. Woke up with a severe rash all over my body and came back.They are now giving me antihistamine but its not working. Any ideas?

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. You mentioned that you have sinus infection, fever and severe rash on the skin . There can be other complications also if sinusitis left untreated infection can spread to surrounding part like middle ear or brain (meningitis). So i would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order X-ray or CT scan for proper diagnosis . He/she may prescribe nasal decongestant , antibiotic course or ambroxol . If the cause of sinusitis is allergy the doctor may prescribe antihistamine drug . For now do warm saline gargles , take saline nasal drops , take steam 2-3 times a day and drink plenty of water to keep your self hydrate .
