Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. You are having headache which i don't know whether it is due to sinusitis or eye problem. It can be suspected on the basis of few symptoms:

- Sinusitis - headache over forehead or below eyes, more in cold environment, increase on forward bending, more during day time, associated with nasal stuffiness/post nasal discharge.

- Eye problem - Headache around eyes, associated with photophobia, decreased vision, flashes of light, heaviness throughout day, relief after closing eyes or taking nap.

If it is due to eye problem, do not treat at home, consult eye specialist. You might need full eye check up, glasses for vision.

If it is due to sinusitis, you can do
: Avoid cold objects, food, environment
: Steam inhalation 4 to 6 times daily
: Increase uptake of warm or hot food or liquids like coffee
: after steam inhalation, clear your nose to relieve stuffiness
: You can take cetrizine, paracetamol, oxymetazoline combination after proper prescription to relieve sinus opening edema and thus increase air flow inside it. It clears sinus discharge, increase reach of antibiotics and relieve headache
: You can take antibiotic therapy like co-amoxyclav therapy after proper prescription
Still no relief, you should consult doctor for examination and management. He might advise you some blood tests, nose examination, rule out deviated nasal septum.

Thanks. Hope it will help you. Take care.
