Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Lisinopril

I was prescribed Lisinopril about a month ago. Two days ago I experienced a feeling of having air caught in my stomach to the point of substantial pain. Took me hours to just burp all the air out. Since then, I am experiencing pain whenever I try to eat and a lot of air that is difficult to release and so I am in fairly constant stomach pain. I read that this is a side effect of Lisinopril. It is affecting my eating substantially. Should I discontinue the medication and ask for another medication?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. You can use acne soap for gentle wash twice daily. Avoid fatty and oily food. Getting steam is good. You can also take vitamin C supplements daily. Take more plain water. Avoid sweets and sugar. Using aloe Vera gel for local application is helpful also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
