She has fluid build up on her lungs and are crackly. Also fluid build up in legs and her abdomen looks swollen. Any indication how long she may have left?

Hello,
Breathlessness to your nan is occuring due to fluid built up in lungs which n turn is due to heart failure.
Treatment involves removal of fluid by use of diuretics and meicines like digixin for improved contracttion of heart muscles and better pumping of heart. At her age and situation, she requires treatment in the hospital under he care of cardiologist. As far as her longevity is concerned it is very difficult to say about it without examining her.
Thanks
