Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Ear Blockage

I feel shortness of breath, and at times I have to breath harder to get the perfect breath. My both ears are kind of blocked, and when I yawn I feel it that it s blocked as no air moves from the inner ear. I have mucus, but not much but it s pure clean.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have shortness of breath and ear blockage . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like post nasal drip , upper respiratory track infection , chest infection or ear infection .

The symptoms can also occur eustachian tube dysfunction. The symptoms can also occur due to condition like asthma , food allergy or psychological problem lie stress and anxiety .I would suggest you to consult chest specialist for proper examination .

Doctor may order chest x-ray , check vitals and blood test . Doctor may also order sleep study to rule out sleep apnea . Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux problem . Doctor may also recommend CPAP machine for sleep apnea .
