On Tuesday I had an IV in the underside of my wrist. I had surgery on my other hand. Tonight the same vein I had the IV in got really swallow. It was shooting pain down my palm and really hurting in that location. I wrapped my wrist. 2 hours later I unwrapped it. It s really bruised and looks like it may have burst. Should I be concerned?
Hello, Its probably a thrombophlebitis. You should apply thrombophob ointment twice a day for 3-4 days. For Pain, you can tab Dolo 650 mg whenever needed upto three times a day. Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
