Suggest Treatment For Severe Wrist Pain

Hi, I have had wrist pain in my left wrist on the bone that follows my thumb for about 2-3 weeks. I feel the bone is protruding a bit more than the other side. The pain is worse when i move my thumb or bend by wrist. I have tried motrin and anti inflammatory, but didn t seem to help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
The symptoms are suggestive of carpel tunnel syndrome. Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. You can take simple analgesics like ibuprofen for pain.
If symptoms persist despite the analgesics , you might require a short surgery.
Thanks
