General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Such type of wheezing particularly in the night may be due to some sort of allergy ( allergens may be duet , mite, pollen , pests , spray , fumes, sudden increase or decrease in temperature , smoking ( active or passive ).
, so ,if possible avoid these allergens.
When such cases visit my clinic I advise them to take montelukast + bambuterol , once or twice in day ( usually dose is one tablet ).
Steam inhalation and hot coffee also provide instant relief.
Hope these measures may be useful for you.
