Hi, I am recovering from a bad cold from the past 7 days. It started of with just severe throat pain, myalgia and fever. Later, my nose got blocked, a lot of mucus, went from clear to yellow. I look sudafed and some home remedies, and advil for the fever. The fever and blocked nose and mucus has gone, but i have a sore throat from the past 2 days. It is so bad that I have a hard time swallowing. It feels like the entire mouth is scratched and it hurts a lot. It is on the top of the palate, it feels like it is swollen and all scratched up. I have tried everything. I read online and several doctors say that it is probably viral, but how do I get better, the throat keeps burning, it is so hard to swallow or even touch my tongue on the top of the palate. please help
