Hi, I was skating and I fell on my tailbone, as soon as I fell I got extremely lightheaded and I couldn t hear, my tailbone hurt all that guy causing unintentional crying and I couldn t really sit or lYdown without pain. It s getting a little better, but could I have damaged my tailbone or do you think it s just a bruise on the tailbone?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
As per your explanation I suggest you have strain the soft tissue as well tail bone so there will be micro level damage and it will pain for time being. But as you have told it is getting better so that means the damage is healing too. Here you can do one thing don't sit for long and exactly on rail bone as well for lying also it will be good if you sleep on side or on your Tommy. Again here the thumb rule is do not do any thing which pain and give some time to body to heal it.
You can also use hot pack to pain full area. As well also visit Physiotherapist to do some physio therapy treatment like ultrasound. Which will increase the healing process.
Hope this will be useful for you. Take care.
