Suggest Treatment For Severe Stabbing Pain In The Leg

Been having a pain in the back of my left leg on and off for a few days, maybe a week. Its a sort of stabbing pain with an ache aswell. It moves up and down my leg, usually my thigh or behind my knee, sometimes in my calf. I have been reading up on deep vein thrombrosis but don t know how serious my symtoms are.

hi,

as you mentioned about the stabbing pain and the way it radiates , it is giving me an impression of the pinched nerve for which an MRI is of indication. also for DVT doubt you can do a Doppler test and get the doubt cleared.

also for the pain you can perfrom regular exercises like -
ankle toe movements
straight leg raise
core stability
static quadriceps and hamstring
gluteus strengthening exercises.

by performing regular exercises your pain level will come down.

with the grace of God I wish you a speedy recovery.
