Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat
Hello, I have had a sore throat for about a week now and I cant open my mouth too wide while eating food because it hurts. It hurts most in the morning when I wake up. My lymph nodes might be sore but is this just the common cold? How long will it take to recover?

I have gone through your query. Usually sore throat will improve within 1 week time. Your problem can be most likely secondary bacterial infection. Antibiotics will be needed in such case. I usually advise antibiotics like Azithromycin or Co-amoxiclav in such case. So it is better to approach your GP for this.
