Suggest Treatment For Severe Sore Throat And Gastritis
I have had a severe sore throat, with severe gastritis. I am wondering how long will my esophagos will tolerate this before something serious will develop. I have Fybro and inflammatory disease and actually starting to feel like a hyperchondriac. My whole family died of a horrible (but differeny) cancers. I refuse to take the meds and will be seeing an ENT in Sept.. Hopefully , will have same problem. I do take all the stomach meds.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe sore throat and gastritis which could be due to viral or bacterial infection, acid reflux or peptic ulcer disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antacid medicines like ranitidine or pantoprazole. Avoid intake of oily, fried and spicy food. Drink plenty of water. You should not lay down immediately after having food. Avoid intake of large food at a time. You should take small meals and frequent meals. You should take proton pump inhibitors such as ondansetron. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper examination. You should have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
