Suggest Treatment For Severe Sinus Infection

Hello i am a reletive healthy 31 year old femle. I do suffer from chronic sinus infections do to allergys.i went to the doctor a few days ago and they did a throat culture and it came back as serrations marcescens. I looked it up and haven t gotten any concrete answers as to the symtoms or if it s contagious and if I could of given it to my boyfriend if he should get a throat cutlure. Also Is this chronic or curable . Should I be worried . The doctor gave me 10 days of cipro will that help?

Ciprofloxacin is one of the antibiotics that can be used to treat this type of infection , if it does not respond to this then there are alternative antibiotics that can be used.

There are cases of antibiotic resistance

In terms transmission, it is possible that transmission can occur , if he has symptoms then he can be assessed.
