Knee ortho looked at it and said probable medial meniscus tear scheduled an MRI. I had three Medial meniscus surgeries on the right knee and it still hurts. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to medical/ligament rest.
MRI scan can confirm the diagnosis.
Once the diagnosis is confirmed surgery followed by physical therapy to strengthen muscle is best treatment option.
Please be advised to undergo MRI scan as scheduled.
Meanwhile you can apply ice on knee and take advil for pain relief.Take adequate rest.

Hope this answers your question
