General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There is the possibility of having referred pain because of the same reason (due to nerve compression) on the lower left side of your abdomen. Sometimes it is due to some other reason too. To know the exact cause if it persists for long duration then I would suggest you to pay a visit to your doctor for the same.

Doing a physical examination by your doctor is the best thing that can be done if the duration of pain is of longer duration and extreme. After that he will be able to advice you if there is need of any other tests or not. Also if necessary some pain relieving medicines prescribed by your doctor can help depending on underlying reason.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
