Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Legs

I want to know if you know what it means when you have severe pain in your legs and they are tender to the touch. The pain is when I finally lay down to bed it is like a knife is stabbing my legs (lower area of legs) and then their is burning, however the burning has now been going up on my right leg all the way up. Also I get cramps in my muscles anytime when I move certain ways, all of a sudden I will twist or turn and immediately get a cramp in my side or my back or stomach. Help, Please

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
If you are elderly then these symptoms might be due to osteoporosis or some degenerative changes in your joints or muscles.
If you are young then this might be due to sedentary life style and lack of physical exercise.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Take B1, B6, B12 supplements.
Go for regular physical exercises for about 30-40 minutes a days for 5 days in a week.
Ok and take care.
