Hello Ten days ago, l was told l have Bells Palsy.... In two days l am flying to the U.S. My problem is, that l am woken about 2 - 4 am with excruciating pain behind my ear. Is it the position l am sleeping or a symptom to expect? I am taking co codamol or sometimes paracetamol which does ease it, this seems to be the worst time it happens.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this does not cause any facial elements that is neurological in origin then it may not be Bell's palsy, for the pain you can try "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day, if this is the Bell's palsy then it need to be given tried with steroid and best would be Prednisone hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
