Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Pressure In The Ear

Hello, I am on my third day experiencing moderate to severe ear pain and fullness in my right ear. I have already seen a local physician and been prescribed antibiotics, an antihistamine, and ear drops. My ear pressure is still very uncomfortable, in particular while at work. Is there anything else I can do to safely relieve my ear pressure?

Thank for your query.
You have pain and pressure in the right ear. Although you have been under an antibiotic antihistamine and ear drops, if there is a fluid behind the tympanic membrane, it will take 1 to 3 weeks for resolution.
The only way to relieve the pressure in the inner ear is a small surgery called Tympanotomy meaning a small cut is made in the tympanic membrane to such the fluid and you ear will open up partially but immediately.

Otherwise continue the medicines already prescribed and add an anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen too. '
