Suggest Treatment For Severe Nose Bleeding

for a month now, I have been bleeding out my right nostril 2x a day or more. Last wk i went to my regular Doctor and took a blood panel. He said that I shouldn t worry. Well, I just got done with a nose bleed that lasted 20.min. I also realized that It happens when I bend my head over or standing and lifting something that is waist height. Now I had RA for 16 yrs; have fibro and lower back and scatic nerve damage. I feel that my doctor won t do more to stop the nose bleed. Can you help me??

You have epistaxis that is nose bleeding.
The Nasal lining over the partition of nose is delicate as lips lining. Having said that we have four major arteries running below it. Any Dryness and minor trauma can cause rupture of these vessels. Once the bleeding is stopped, the clot reorganises itself and forms a scab in order to allow the underlying lining to heal. In this period if there is again dryness or forceful sneezing or heavy lifting the vessel again gives away and there so the bleeding.
I will suggest you to apply a Clear antiseptic oinment over the lining of nasal partition in both nostrils twice daily, so that it wont dry.
Secondly instill 3-4 drops of Saline nasal drops three times daily.
Avoid lifting heavy objects and take some antiallergics for 15 days to avoid getting sneezing.
If this persists, you need investigations with Nasal Endoscopy to know the exact site of bleeding.
Hope the above solves your query.
Thanking you,
Sincerely yours,
