General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
sweating is a body reaction to maintain body temperature.
There are various conditions causing night sweating like-
- excess atmospheric temperature, excessive draping, psychological stress.
- some bacterial/fungal infections( tuberculosis)
- thyroid disorder,diabetes,
- drugs for fever or pain,Anti hypertensives
I would like to carry out investigations( Blood work, MX test, urine examination, full systemic examination,X rays if indicated, blood glucose test, thyroid tests as per need) for pin pointing the cause get specific treatment.
Please seek an advice of a physician for that.
Till then you can control room temperature to cooler side ,avoid exposure to heat, wear light cotton cloths, try to be tension free.
Thanks.
