Suggest Treatment For Severe Menstrual Cramps

I have been experiencing severe menstrual cramps since I had a pap smear done last week. Pain medication does not give any relief. I had a hysterectomy in 1997. Everything was removed since I was diagnosed with breast CA that fed off of the estrogen in my body. What can I do to ease the pain?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
These kind of menstrual cramps are common in hysterectomy patients.
It is mostly due to hormonal imbalance. So get done hormone levels to rule out hormonal imbalance.
You may need hormone pills to regulate hormones.
Also get done clinical examination of of vagina to rule out infection as you recently had pap smear examination.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Consult your doctor and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
