Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. If I were your doctor, after a clinical assessement of your abdomen, I would advise you for a routine stool test for ova and cyst and occult blood, a urine test both routine and microscopic, a routine blood test like a CBC, and possibly an ultrasound of abdomen if need be. I would also advise you to avoid any outside food, and also avoid smoking and alcohol completely if you do. On the dietary front, you should go for a high roughage diet with enough liquids. Further management would depend on the reports of investigations and clinical assessment of your abdomen.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
