Having a problem with severe pain in my leg. Am getting weak and am on pain medication. Have been tested for blood clots, heart issue, joint problem, chest X-ray, etc. All tests are negative. It just occurred to me that it might have something to do with the com plata I m taking? Been on it about a year. ????

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a pinched nerve or a rheumatological disorder. For this reason, I recommend consulting first with a neurologist and performing nerve conduction studies.

If a pinched or damaged nerve is excluded, I recommend consulting with a rheumatologist and performing some other blood lab tests (vitamin D plasma levels, complete blood count, fibrinogen plasma levels, ANA and ANCA titer antibodies, etc.).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
