Hello,

In rheumatoid arthritis, you need to have disease-modifying drugs after consulting a rheumatologist to tackle with the pain and inflammation. Taking painkillers will help you on a short-term basis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal,
