Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching On Stomach, Hands And Legs

Hi doc . respect primarily to the hard work you do. I am having direct .23 and indirect 1.19 sgpt is 39as per Dr lal today report. I had jaundice in aug14 full month and it was hep E. I was cited by Sept but even after that I laid maximum caution. Also I have serious itching issue. Which aggtevates while going to sleep and its red area with some long patch on my back itching moves from chest stomach to thigs lower legs to back at times with daane. Itching is v energy consuming and low sensation in hand fingers and some funny exhausting sensation of itching in the base of feet. Also Itching increased after temperature changes. Esp entering ac room Kindly help Abhinav

I really appreciate your concern, such itching is part of symptom in jaundice because of the deposition of bile in epidermis, and antihistamin can be tried for this, and best medicine would be "Diphenhydramine tab three times in day" and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
