I can understand your concern. Your headache is causing sleep disturbance which is mostly due to
tension headache. Its character varies from dull to pulsatile. From your history, it appears like
pulsatile headache. It can be suspected definitely if headache is present on both sides, present even after waking up from sleep, increases with bright light/stress/watching TV, not associated with any deficit.
If you are having
hemicranial headache at some focal point, associated with focal deficit, vomiting, progressively increasing in severity, then it could be due to focal lesion in brain.
Diagnosis can only be confirmed after evaluating your history, examining your vision, BP, nervous system. You might be advised MRI of brain to rule out any focal lesion. For pain, you can take
Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription. Avoid bright light. Avoid stress condition.
Consult doctor if no relief.
