Suggest Treatment For Severe Head Cramps

Often, after exercise (tennis,) I suffer severe hand cramps while doing simple things . Perhaps I m using a fork or picking something up, and suddenly a cramp occurs. It is most often in the thumb muscles in the palm or the thumb itself but it can also occur in the fingers too. I used to think it had to do with prescription drugs I took, but I m starting to suspect incomplete hydration. What do you think?

Hello
Welcome to HCM.
In my opinion, the cramps are probably due to incomplete hydration and muscle fatigue.

As you play tennis, it can be the reason for cramps.
Keep yourself well hydrated.
You can also take vitamin E supplements to prevent muscle cramps.

Thanks.
