You are already diagnosed with PCOS, which means that you are suffering from hormonal imbalance. You probably have less secretion of female sex hormones and more of testosterone (male sex hormone) in your body. Diabetes is also closely related to PCOS as PCOS patients are always more susceptible to develop diabetes.
Excessive hair fall is the effect of the excessive secretion of testosterone in your body. You may also be suffering from facial hair growth.
The medicines, shampoo and cream you are prescribed may or may not give you relief as they are not directed towards the cause of hair fall. You need to go to a gynecologist and get a blood test done for determining the level of female and male sex hormones in your body. According to that level, the gynecologist will prescribe you hormonal medicines that will regulate the level of hormones in your body and will control hair growth and loss.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
