Hi,
To have eye twitching while having excessive gas /indigestion is a myth. Actually.such twitching can be a dry eye /an involuntary muscle spasm due to unknown cause .these causes are insignificant. But while having the problem.
It's better to have an eye examined for conjunctival inflammation or eye lid infection/in some people it can be intermittent spasm of muscles on one side of face and these must be excluded .in case nothing is wrong.
Keep the eye well hydrated by using Refresh eye drops, over the counter twice a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
