Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever

i brought my daughter to the hospital prior to that she has not had a fever i waited a day to give her amoxicillian as soon as i did and hr later i get a call from school saying her temp was 102 and she threw up now iam suppose to give her the meds again but something is telling me not to

I understand your concern
Amoxicillin is antibiotic, it is prescription drug and should be done after confirming the infection.
It could be symptoms of viral infection or some bacterial or parasitic infection which should be ruled out by complete physical examination with some relevant tests.
I would suggest you to undergo routine blood counts with differential counts and blood test to rule out malaria, any other pathogen predominant in your region .
Treatment will depend on the tests result
Drugs like advil should be started to reduce the temperature
Give him lots of fluid to drink.
Other treatment will depend on the other associated symptoms after detailed examination.
