Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain

Hi Doctor. I am a 26yr old lady and i have this problem that when i am sneezing i feel like there is a bubble being blown in my right ear. I sometimes cant hear properly and when i try to clean it with sweet oil using earbuts it becomes very painfull. I also have the problem that when i drink a soft drink i feel burn on my throat.

It would be best not to insert anything to far into the ears because of the risks of damage to the ear drum.

These should only be used into the outer ear.

It is possible that the symptoms are related to sinusitis (since history of sneezing) and eustachian tube dysfunction.
The eustachian tube is the tube connecting the middle ear to the back of the throat and has many roles including equalizing pressure.

The use of anti histamine decongestant combination would be helpful.

In terms of the burn with the soft drinks, the carbonated aspect of the drink can irritate the throat.
May need avoid these for now.
