Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain

I went to the dr last week for ear pain. I was told I have eustrachian tube disfunction and a retracted ear drum. I m 39 weeks pregnant so I was told to used a saline nasal spray. It s not helping and I m in so much pain. The pain radiates into my jaw. What else can I do?

you don't seem to have just ET dysfunction. it could be ASOM or otitis externa or fungal infection in your ear. better get evaluated again by an ENT specialist.For time being you can start with an antibiotic ( amoxyclav), levocetrizine which is safe and paracetamol for pain. use xylometazoline nose drops 2 drops TDS as well as steam inhalation.
