Suggest Treatment For Severe Diarrhea

my daughter is 5months old and has diarrhea for the past two weeks. the first few days blood was in the stool and a doctor prescribed septra for 5 days. the blood stopped but the running stools continued until recently now she is passing mucus. what is causing this? what should I do?

continue septra, how much motion she passed in last 24 hours?, is there any redness over anal area? please go for stool test for reducing substance and pH. shift to lactose free milk formula like Zerolac. and add tab zinc (Z &D) 20 mg 3/4 Tab once a day, sachet econorm once daily, and tell the condition after 24 hours
