In my view you might be having upper respiratory tract infection. In this dry cough with sore throat are usual symptoms.better to start azithromycin 500 mg one tablet in the morning for 3 days with tablet levocetrizine 1 in morning and 1 in evening. You can also do warm saline gargles 4-5 times a day. Avoid spicy and oily food.
