Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation

hello doctor i need your urgent help as early as possible Sir iam suffering with constipation from last ten year soo till the day i have to take some thing like isabgula or any thing else at night so at morning my stomach getting clear, but now iam facing number of additional problem like too much weekness,ellergy,too much wait loss etc. so iam very upset with all these thing if i does not take any thing at night to help getting stool free morning then i am facing lots of constipation please suggest me what i hav t do now.......

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history constipation for the last 10 years. Also have weakness, allergy, weight loss, and hence not taking anything at night.
I would advise you in such a condition the following:
- Start taking full diet on both the times and have breakfast in the morning and brunch in the evening.
- Have proper clinical evaluation, examination and investigations :
X-ray abdomen in standing position for fecoliths. If present needs saline and soap enema to get the bowels clear. This alone can alleviate your problems, to be assisted by proper dose adjustment of the laxatives you are taking.
- Colonoscopy and CT scan of the abdomen as the problem is 10 years old and should see the cause, secondary changes and aftereffects.
Once diagnosed properly an appropriate treatment will help you to recover completely.
