Yes water will help you a lot but it seems your stools have become harder and you may need ( may not also) an
enema by a para medical staff or by anyone at home by reading instructions on enema pouch (say proctocalyss enema).
This may be for 1st time in these conditions.
For future please change your food habits. A lot of fibers by way of salads, leafy veg, coarse grain food and buttermilk by putting black salt pinch in it will do wonders.
Triphala capsules by Himalaya co., which are combination of three herbs is very safe for taking orally.
Once in a week may take liquid Halwa (or Seera) (INDIA) or porridge preferably of coarsely ground grain will be very helpful. Walks are also helpful to have good peristaltic movements of intestines thus easing passing of stools.
I think it is helpful. You may get help of any Ayurveda doctor near you. These pure herbals and natural ways are far better than synthetic things.
