Suggest Treatment For Severe Chest Pain And Burning Sensation In The Shoulder

Hi doctor My name is karthik aged 29 and I live in chennai . I had chest pain for the last 15 days or so . And it still continues . It s a mild chest pain on the left and sometimes radiates to the left shoulder and back with a burning sensation . My ecg twice came normal , tmt came normal and doctor declared it as gastric problem.. today I took echo and the reports came something like this ..hope u could help clarify if it s normal . Am concerned cos there was something which says left ventricular diastolic dysfunction ...find below few details on the report LV FUNCTION: Normal LV DIASTOLIC FUNCTION: E/A : 0.9/0.6 E /A : 0.08/0.10 DT : 118ms E/E :11 PERICARDIUM: Normal SEGMENTAL WALL MOTION ANALYSIS: no RWMA IMPRESSION: Normal left ventricular systolic function EF : 66%, Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction(+), No RWMA, Normal valves, No regurgitation, No chamber enlargement/ hypertrophy, Normal pericardium, intact septae, No clot/aneurysm.

This 2d echo is absolutely normal. No need to worry for any heart diseases.
In my opinion, you are mostly having musculoskeletal pain.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain.
3. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
4. Take painkiller like ibuprofen.
5. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
And no need to worry for heart diseases.
