Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain

I have had unexplained back pain for a week. It feels muscular rather than spinal, but I didn t injure myself in any way. I was only sitting on the floor and gradually became aware of discomfort. I can t go from standing to sitting positions, or vice versa, without support, nor can I bend without support . I m also having trouble lifting as little as 4-5 lbs. I am in good overall health otherwise. I ve been taking aleve with but getting very little relief .

I think might be due to muscle spasm

For muscle strain. You should take NSAID like aceclofenac with muscle relaxants like chlorzoxazone/ tizanidine twice daily for 3-5 days based on the responce. You can ask your local doctor for prescription of this agent. Along with this hot compression and analgesic gel or spray will be beneficial. This will help you.
