Suggest Treatment For Severe Acne Problems

I am 36 years old and have never had a pimple problem until now. I have only ever had one pimple a month - always timed with my menstruation cycle - and even those have only ever been small and in roughly the same place (chin area). While the pimples I am getting these days could in no way be considered acne, they are large and sore, and popping up all over the place...even got one on my neck the other day. I am not too worried about it, but I am curious to know whether it is likely caused by hormonal changes?
Cheers

dear, acne can be caused by hormonal changes, stress or may be due to acidity. if I would have been at your place, i would start topical clindamycin & start having bland diet. they will subside for sure.
