General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Some persons , who are experiencing seizures may experience an aura prior to the onset of the seizures.

During this time , a person may experience visual symptoms (bright lights, zig zag lines, temporary blindness, blind spot), change in smells, hallucinations, anxiety/sense of foreboding, nausea.
These symptoms can last from seconds to hours.

If you experience any of these they you may have time to contact someone.

You may need to speak to your doctor about your seizure control.

I hope this helps
