Suggest Treatment For Schizophrenia
Doctor, My sister who is 42 years old has been suffering from high depression that led to head weight, some stupid thinking like much neatness, much kindness, fear of death and etc.. doctors said she is with schizophrenia with high depression, more or less 25 years she has been suffering, any possibility to cure her completely sir?

In case of schizophrenia complete cure is not the target.Maintaining and and keeping patient stable is the objective.Depression is secondary due to long illness.Kindly continue with drugs and never stop it.

she is suffering from it since 25 years than lots of history is left to know before give any advice
frankly speaking if she had schizophrenia as confirm diagnosis and she took treatment since so many years but not improved than chance of improvement is only 30%
because there are lots of changes occur in brain with that much of long illness
so need to consult best psychiatrist and talk about her prognosis
and accept whatever the conditions
if she is better and do work individually with medicines than continue to take life time
hope for the best
