Suggest Treatment For Scalp And Facial Itching

im a41 year old female for 4 weeks ive been suffering scalp and facial itching.it feels like something is crawling on me.there are little white flakes which are hard coming from my scalp and also on the fluffy hair on my skin.it is driving me mad please help

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that scalp and facial itching along with white flakes can occur due to causes like Seborrheic Dermatitis, Scalp Psoriasis etc..

I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Microscopic examination of the flakes, blood tests etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised shampoo containing Ketoconazole, coal tar, salicylic acid, Zinc , selenium etc..
Steroid lotion and ointment can also be advised..
