Suggest Treatment For Scab In The Nose

I have a scab in my nose that does not want to heal. I had this happen one other time about 8 months ago - in the same spot. It took several months to heal. It came back about a month ago. The scab is annoying and if I pick it - it just oozes a clear liquid - and occasionally a little blood. What can I do to make it go away and not come back. I do get a funny feeling - almost like i think have an underground zit in soft part of the side of my nose.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

You need to avoid itch and scratch or poke your nose. Don't cut nasal hairs and not at all by barbers. Wash gently with warm saline water two to three times a day and apply some soothing antibiotic cream. You may come again for online consultation if need further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
