Suggest Treatment For Ruptured Appendix

my son is in the hospitaland has a ruptured apendix. He is getting antibiatics and lots of fluids. He has pain when he pees,and dark green stool. Last night I left him with my husband and I think he was inseptic shock, How danderous is all of this. Should he go into surgery . He is 13yrs. old, has fevers and is in a lot of pain. At times he seems better and than hes not again. HELP!

Thanks for your query.
This is a case of appendicitis with a complication.
He needs an urgent CT scan , and if the appendicular abscess it present , it has to be drained immediately otherwise this will be life-threatening.
Septic Shock, green stools, painful urination are all indicating this.
Request the Surgeon to operate him the moment they feel he can be.
It takes a few hours for the body to get settled and at least fit enugh for the patient to sustain the anesthesia and surgery.
Timely intervention will save him
