Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of runny nose, cough and shortness of breath which is due to inflammation and blockage of sinuses leading to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to poor and compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit general practitioner once and get complete examination done. You should get culture of sinuses done and sensitivity from sinus fluids can help in correct diagnosis. You should get X-ray chest done along with allergy test to find out exact cause and start treatment. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial , antiviral depending upon the diagnosis , mucolytic agent or decongestants. Avoid intake of outside food and cold carbonated beverages.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
