Hello. I have a condition that was not treated in a timely fashion. I started coughing what felt like fire and then could not stop regurgitating my food. Consequently, I have burnt out my nose, parts of my throat and ears. Is this treatable? I have been to a total of fifteen doctors. Someone told me I had rosacea and another one thought it was neuralgia. Neither of them deal with these conditions directly. I am currently doing hot and cold treatments.
Hi. As per your case history of Rosacea, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Avoid any cosmetic creams and other home remedies. 3. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk. Avoid taking spicy foods. 4. Apply a metronidazole gel once at night on red skin lesions. 5. Other treatment options are oral doxycyline, minocycline, vitamin c taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
