Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
A picture of the lesion will help with the diagnosis. If not responded to given drugs, this may suggest something else. There few skin conditions in children which will resemble ring worm, but need a different treatment approach. Also, extensive ring worms might need oral anti-fungals in addition. Kindly discuss with a dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
